Opportunities

We are currently seeking Graduate Researchers and Postdoctoral Associates starting Fall 2027!

Open projects:

  • Pulmonary Vascular Growth and Remodeling
    • Expanding our computational models of pulmonary arterial anatomy and hemodynamics to predict adverse vascular growth and remodeling.
    • Investigating how pulmonary artery stenosis and prematurity-associated bronchopulmonary dysplasia impact pulmonary vascular function and pulmonary hypertension risk across the lifespan.

  • Patient-Specific Modeling of Borderline Left Heart Disease
    • Advancing our computational framework for left ventricular growth to support personalized predictions for patients with borderline left heart disease.
    • Estimating the likelihood of successful staged ventricular recruitment while quantifying prediction uncertainty and confidence.

Interested candidates should email Dr. Witzenburg (witzenburg@wisc.edu) and attach a CV.

We are a group of curious and  motivated individuals with interests in:
